Fire, Ambulance and Police were called to a collision on Greenfield Road near Holmfirth late this afternoon. The initial calls were of a camper van and four other vehicles being involved leaving people trapped in the wreckage.
This proved to be a Camper van a VW Polo car and an Audi. The person who died was in the VW Polo, this had left the road as a result of the crash. Fire crews from Huddersfield, Slaithwaite and Cleckheaton including the Major rescue Unit were sent to the scene.
Two air ambulances were also sent along with numerous road ambulances and the police. The trapped casualty was in the camper van and was released by fire crews.
The road remains closed as police investigate the scene. The incident happened at at around 4.45pm and it has been confirmed by the police that a fatality has been involved.
Reports are that an 18 year old female has been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation

Fire crews attended the fire at Bright Blue Foods (Yorkshire Cottage Bakery) at around 3pm today. The bakery on Menstone Street off City Road in Bradford had been evacuated when crews arrived at the scene. The incident involved a large industrial oven inside the premises.
Fire crews used a Foam branch, extinguishers and 8 Breathing apparatus to deal with the incident. The fire was quickly extinguished. Crews from Fairweather Green, Bradford, Odsal, Shipley and the Foam making unit from Hunslet along with a support pump from Hunslet and Stanningley. attended.
